About this policy

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the terms on which you may access Clear Competitions (the “Site”). It applies to all visitors and registered users. By using the Site, you agree to follow this policy together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

to enter competitions using automated bots, scripts, or bulk methods contrary to our Terms;
to impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation.

Interactive services

We may provide interactive features such as competition entry, account areas, comments, reviews, winner stories, contact forms, and links to social media (together, “Interactive Services”).

Where moderation is used, we will take reasonable steps to assess risks — especially for vulnerable users — but we are not obliged to monitor all activity. We exclude liability for loss arising from use of Interactive Services where users breach this policy, whether or not content is moderated.

Use of Interactive Services by anyone under 18 is prohibited. Parents or guardians permitting older minors to browse should discuss online safety; moderation is not foolproof.

Content standards

These standards apply to any material you submit to the Site (including comments, messages, and account details) and to your use of Interactive Services.

Contributions must:

be accurate where they state facts and genuinely held where they state opinions;
comply with UK law and the law of any country from which they are posted.

Contributions must not:

be defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful, or inflammatory;

infringe copyright, database rights, or trade marks;
breach confidentiality or promote illegal activity;
harass, alarm, or distress others;
impersonate others or suggest they originate from us when they do not.
